Next comes Asset Installation; the ordered device must be completed, configured, shipped and eventually installed on a customer site. The installation of modern advanced devices can be really challenging, especially in the healthcare industry, hence a precise preparation and management of the installation process is so important. A dedicated project manager is responsible for the success of the installation which involves: construction inspection, power source certification, logistics, heavy lifting (many times the device is bigger than available building entries or windows), mounting device by certified engineer, and users training. We created an application hosted on Salesforce platform for Project Managers of Installations to support them in their complex work.
